We are back home

It feels good to be back home but at the same time I already miss my other Toledo. Our stay in Spain was extremely productive. We shot over thirty hours of investigative footage and we met so many great people. The people of Toledo, Spain were so extremely hospitable and accomodating to us. All the work seemed easy and the time just flew by. The best part was the actual interviews. We would shoot for an hour and then the artists would invite us in to their homes for some wine from the region and some manchego cheese. We would spend the next couple of hours talking and getting to know them. This part was the most rewarding and sometimes the most informational. Plus the wine was terrific.

So now that we are back here in Ohio we have to start working on this end of the film. Things are starting to come together here as well. Interest in the film is growing. I think when people here realize how much interest there is for this project on the other side of the Atlantic, they will all want to show how great Toledo, Ohio is. People in both Toledos have great pride in their cities and this is something that will definitely come out in the film. This is what makes me happiest. People really want to show others how great their cities are and what each city really has to offer. That is one of the main purposes of this film.

More to come.
