Students Learn to Make Paella

Students Learn to Make Paella
Originally uploaded by twotoledos.

Here Jacob is filming some University of Toledo students who are learning to make Paella for the first time. Paella is a traditional Spanish dish that usually consists of rice, seafood, sausage, and chicken. We plan to include a segment in the documentary about the student exchanges that take place every year between Toledo, Ohio and Toledo, Spain. Eric Varela, son of Tony and Dagmar Varela, is wearing the orangish shirt. Tony and Dagmar are from the University of Toledo Foreign Language Department and they bring students to Toledo, Spain every July.
